- Japan has four seasons : Spring (March to May), Summer (June to early-September), Autumn (late-September to November), Winter (December to February). The climate varies depending on the location as the land stretch from north to south. Mid-June to early-July is the Rainy season (mostly cloud and wet), followed by the Typhoon season (peaking in Aug-Sep, with 3-4 landfall yearly).
