Showa Kinen Park is a national park, located in Tachikawa City and Akishima City, with variety of themed flower gardens, restaurants & cafes, cycling trail, swimming pool etc.

Spring is the best time to visit the park as you can spot colourful flowers such as tulips, nemophilas, canora flowers, poppies etc. The park is now offering Flower Festival (24 March – 27 May, 2018). Admission is free on 29th April (Showa Day) and 20th May (normal fee : 450yen).

Getting There:
The park has several entrances. The easiest way is to take JR Chuo Line and get off at Tachikawa Station, and it’s about 10min walk from the station.
