You should book BEFORE you depart for Japan.
Step 1. Before You Fly :
Book and collect a voucher (called MCO) from authorized travel agents in your country. Booking can be made either at authorized travel agents or online. However, even you book online, you need to collect your MCO from authorized travel agents (delivery may available, ask the agent).
Step 2. Upon Arrival in Japan:
Proceed to designated JR train station e.g. Kansai Int’l Airport station, Osaka station, Kyoto station, Nagoya station etc. Present your MCO and passport to receive the pass.
Ticket Price: 14,000yen (as of May 2019)
Validity: Five(5) consecutive days from the date of activation.
